Lloydine Janine Nichelle Jacobs was born on July 15, 1986 to Madge S. Jacobs and Lloydstone Jacobs, who was Antigua and Barbuda’s first ambassador to the United Nations. Lloydine’s older brother, Lloydstone Jacobs Jr, sustained a gun shot injury to his head but underwent a life-saving surgery that allowed him to fully recover. She excelled all though grade school, so much so that she was allowed to skip two grades. She graduated as the valedictorian of her fifth and eighth grade classes and entered high school at the age of twelve. Lloydine was determined to aim for the stars and graduated with highest honors from Hostos- Lincoln Academy high school as the salutatorian at the age of 15.

Lloydine attended the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, an accelerated seven-year medical program that confers the BS and MD degrees in collaborat ion with another medical school. She graduated from Sophie Davis with honors and went on to take Steps 1 and 2 of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE). After months of studying and praying, Lloydine scored in the top 1% and 2% of the nation, respectively. She completed her last two years of medical school at Albany Medical College and will receive the Doctorate of Medicine degree at the young age of 22. She will be completing her 6-year residency training at the prestigious University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in orthopaedic surgery and orthopaedic research.
